ACTRA Alberta is offering a 2-day immersive weekend workshop with acclaimed “The Real Life Actor” Jeff Seymour

The Real Life Actor Approach And Philosophy.
Actors will be totally engaged in this workshop to perform in assigned scenes, monologues, improv and self-tapes.

Dates & Times:
Saturday, April 26, 2025 – Day 1 | 10am – 6 pm
Sunday, April 27, 2025 – Day 2 | 10am – 6 pm

Lunch break each day from 1:30pm -2:30pm.

Cost: $100+ GST for 2 day Workshop
(Regularly $450 for this course)

Location: Calgary – ACTRA Alberta Office
These sessions will be IN PERSON 
Available to ACTRA Alberta Members in good standing.

Jeff’s Bio:

Because of Jeff’s varied experience in his 45 years in the business, he can answer questions and offer advice on many aspects of the business. Along with having been a professional working actor his whole life, he designed and built a live theatre in Los Angeles, running it very successfully for ten years, winning some 60 awards. He co-created and starred in his own TV comedy series in Canada. He was the Executive Producer and Showrunner, co-writing 26 episodes. Jeff has written 4 books on acting and the industry; The Real Life Actor, Showing Up Like a Pro, Directing Talent and The Real Life Actor Scene Study Workbook. You can ask him about anything from starting your own live theatre to creating and pitching a TV series. Questions about headshots, agents, writing or directing – you’ll have two full days to ask them. 

By the end of the two days, you’ll feel like you’ve gone from 0 to 60. You’ll feel grounded, enlightened, more confident and clearer with the fine tuning you’ll receive from Jeff. His coaching isn’t generic, “one size fits all”.
That’s the thing about the way he works, Jeff sees all actors as the individuals they are and brings out the best they have to offer.
