What has been your favorite role?
Over the years, I’ve had some great opportunities on and off camera, which makes it difficult to narrow down to just one favorite role. The most unforgettable experience I had off-camera was being a Stand-In in the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife. I met some amazing people, and it was such a joy to work with Jason Reitman, who made the entire experience incredibly fun & exciting. My favorite on-camera role was in the web-series, Ginger Beef; the cast & crew was also outstanding and fantastic to work with, and the storyline really resonated with me.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I’m not performing, I enjoy reading, painting, or spending time with my family and two dogs.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I’m a member of the Calgary-based vocal performance group, Revv52, and really enjoy singing with them; we’ve created numerous music videos throughout the pandemic which are available on their YouTube Channel to check out! I am also passionate about organizations such as the Calgary Humane Society, Canadian Mental Health Association, One Body Village, and volunteer with the Calgary Drop-In Center, when I can.
What Director would you like to work with?
I don’t know that I have enough experience yet to state which Director that I’d like to work with. But I hope to continue getting roles that challenge me, so that I can continuously learn and grow as an actor, no matter which Director I have the pleasure to work with.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I enjoy a variety of movies/TV shows, such as Superstore, The Flash, CW’s Kung Fu, New Amsterdam, the Umbrella Academy, Schitt’s Creeks, Upload, Brooklyn Nine-Nine; it’s hard to narrow down a favourite. I also really enjoy watching foreign movie/TV shows like Autumn’s Concerto, Itaewon Class, and Shadow.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
It’s never too late to pursue your passion. Success is when preparation meets opportunity, and everyone’s pace is different. Your time will come if you continue to put the work in.
