What has been your favorite role?
My favourite role was as Principal Milthorpe in “Superdrycleaners” I love comedy and performing for kids, so I got to work in a fun and open atmosphere and play to my strengths. I also loved being Scooterman in Tin Star with Tim Roth.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I retired after 30 years of teaching in 2013 but still work as a substitute teacher. I am also a casino dealer in Red Deer.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I am passionate about curling and golf. I also work as a professional Santa.
What Director would you like to work with?
This is a difficult question as I have many favourites. I would love to work with Tim Roth again in a Quentin Tarantino production or use my time machine and work with Alfred Hitchcock.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I loved “Extras” with Ricky Gervais and the original TV series “Lost in Space”. One of my favourite movies is “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
One of the things I would have liked to have known sooner is how frustrating the whole audition process is. Never knowing why one doesn’t get a role. The best feeling is getting a role without having to audition, as with my part in Tin Star.
