What has been your favorite role?
Playing Stacey in Reminders Of Him was one of the most incredible experiences of not only my career- but my life. I learned so much from watching the incredible level of talent on set.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I am a freelance social media manager and I make memes. I love creating viral memes. I also recently finished a pilot and I am writing a romance novel!
What activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I joined The Edmonton Juggling Club in January – I learned to juggle! It is no longer a lie on my acting resume (just kidding). Next, I’m going to learn to ride a horse…
What Director would you like to work with?
My ultimate dream would be to star in a Charlies Angels remake directed by Greta Gerwig – I could ski down Lake Louise and catch the evil guy and maybe do a cowgirl spy scene (We’d shoot in Alberta obviously).
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
Right now – Heated Rivalry. It just makes me so deeply proud to be Canadian. Jacob Tierney is someone I really admire.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I wish I would’ve known sooner that nerves aren’t actually very helpful even though they may make me feel like I really care. Preparation = Success. I’m at my best when I’m prepared and calm. Read the script. Read it again. Again. Again. I’d also say to my younger self – “Failure is just a stepping stone to success. It is not a bad thing – it is just a necessary step.”
