What has been your favorite role?
I did an AT&T commercial about things you don’t want to be “Just Ok”, I played a Baking Vloger. It was a super fun day of making up ways to look like I was a good baker, and then at the end failing horribly. The director was awesome and had me try a lot of different things, improv a bunch of lines, and CRACK AN EGG WITH ONE HAND,( which was a skill I hadn’t known I was going to need that day) . I have been cast in mostly serious roles, so I loved getting to do comedy.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I work as an Aerial Circus coach teaching Silks and Trapeze. I am also a singer/ songwriter and before COVID could be seen playing gigs around Edmonton.
What Director would you like to work with?
In recent years I have become a big fan of Taika Waititi, I love his sense of play. I think he would be a really fun director to work with.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
It’s so hard to pick just one! My go to favorite has always been Casino, but most recently I saw Jojo Rabbit in the theatre three times. I just fell in love with the story.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
To remember to PLAY! I became an actor because I loved to imagine worlds and play, and when I remember to delve into that sense of wonder my acting is more honest and I have more fun doing it.
