What has been your favorite role?
The past few years I have been blessed with many amazing and exciting stunt opportunities, but being a stunt double for Willem Dafoe on Disney’s Togo is still one of my favorites. Being able to double such a famous actor was a huge opportunity for me and I absolutely adore dogs.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I’m not performing I’m training for performing. I train parkour regularly at Breathe Parkour (its my primary discipline). I am learning Taekwondo with Master JJ Parks at his dojo “JSC Taekwondo Calgary” to improve my fighting style for film, and I sprinkle in a fair bit of weight lift conditioning and BJJ grappling. I also make semi-regular road trips to Edmonton and train with the local stunt team at the Stunt Garage where they practice dialing in amazing fight choreography for film.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I am a veteran parkour athlete in Calgary and have been training the discipline for almost 12 years. I am also one of the oldest athletes in Canada (I am currently 37). Breathe Parkour in Calgary is Alberta’s largest parkour gym and offers solid training for both youth and adults. It will change your life and teach you a new sustainable way to face your fears; no matter how old you are.
