What has been your favourite role?
My favorite role was playing Allan in the film Rent A Groom because he got to wear the coolest outfits and he was sassy, funny, kind, witty, cute, and compassionate which is basically me in a nutshell. Also, I had the best time with the entire cast and crew and will be forever grateful to everyone on set for that unforgettable experience.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I am not performing, I am watching Drag Race. I also love traveling with my family. My bucket list consists of going to all the Disneylands, tennis majors, and continents except Antarctica. So far I have been to every Disneyland except Tokyo and 1 out of the 4 tennis majors and I still need to visit South America and Africa.
What organization/activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I am most passionate about teaching and learning. I was an elementary teacher before I was an actor and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing and hearing how your actions and choices inspire others in a meaningful way. If I have learned anything as a teacher, it is that the best teachers are also the best learners.
What director would you like to work with?
I want to work with Dan Levy PERIODT!! I really hope our universes collide because he is the epitome of what I hope to accomplish in my acting career. He is hilarious, fashionably competent, and creatively brilliant. Dan…if you are reading this, let’s chat.
What is your favourite movie and/or tv show?
My favorite movies are Moana, Encanto, The Little Mermaid, and Toy Story 3. My favorite TV shows are reality shows that I want to be on, so they are Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, and Bling Empire.
As a performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I never booked a gig because I was the best choice out of hundreds. I booked my gigs because I was supposed to, which means it’s never about you so just enjoy the process and always be ready for an adventure.
