What has been your favorite role?
My favorite role has definitely got to be when I did a partial fire burn as a stunt raider on HBO’s the Last of Us. It was such a privilege to work with such a professional and supportive stunt safety team. Although my burn wasn’t shown in the final cut, it was a really touching episode and I’m just so lucky to have been a part of it.
What do you do when you are not performing?
Honestly, being a husband and father of two hilarious kids takes up so much of my time! After that, I try to train as much as possible on my physical literacy, gymnastics, acrobatics, and fight training so when the day comes, you can throw me down some stairs.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I come from the world of circus arts, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I learned a lot about myself, making art, hard work, and building communities. I feel it translated very well into film and stunts. I love seeing a group bring their best skills together to make an amazing product.
What Director would you like to work with?
Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert made something just brilliant with Everything Everywhere All at Once. (And Turn Down for What) The Cinematography, story and sequences got me so amped. They seem like crazy weird geniuses who have good hearts and that’s really important to me.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I’m a kid at heart, I love Avengers: Endgame, Spiderman No Way Home, and American Born Chinese, but if you throw on a Power Rangers episode…I’ll probably end up doing actions poses in my living room with the broomstick.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
“It’s not about you, it’s about the production and what you guys are making together. Deliver what they hired you to do and make something awesome.”
