What has been your favorite role?
I loved playing Gale (AKA Mom) in Northern Gateway’s film, Coupled Up for Christmas. She was larger-than-life, relentlessly energetic, and funny. I based her on my much-loved, late Mother-in-law, Hazel. 

What do you do when you are not performing?
I work with kids who have emotional regulation or behavioural issues, I teach workshops to teachers, and I support parents who have children with eating disorders. 

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting? 
At 55, I got certified as a scuba diver and I love, love, love it…especially when I get to see sharks or octopus. 

What Director would you like to work with?
Hmm…to be honest, I’m happy to work with any director who likes actors, has a sense of humour, and is a decent human being. 

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
The Tall Guy. Pure comedy gold. 

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
That your self-worth should never be tied to your work.
