What has been your favorite role?
If I had to pick a favorite, I would say Helen in the CW romcom “Second Guessing Fate.” The character was a blast and the whole Northern Gateway team up in Edmonton is so supportive and loving. They are AWESOME!
What do you do when you are not performing?
I started producing short films about a year ago and I just finished writing and directing my first short. Acting is my #1, but I like to stay busy and nothing keeps you busier than creating your own projects. When I am not submerged in the film world, you can find me adventuring with my super cool seven year old son.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
Film festivals! I love being part of them—whether as an actor, filmmaker, volunteer, or fan, the energy is unmatched and the people behind them are incredible. CUFF (Calgary Underground Film Festival) is my #1. I highly recommend checking it out this April.
What Director would you like to work with?
I am passionate about the Alberta film industry so at this point, I am most excited about working with more local directors. Bonus points if they are female, no hate for the fellas, but it would be awesome to see more female directors out there!
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
“Marcel the Shell with Shoes On” holds a special place in my heart for many reasons, “Brooklyn 99” is my go to TV show, and I LOVE a good historical documentary.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
There’s no need to focus on what will happen 10 steps from now. Focus on the step you are on now, do a good job, have FUN, and the rest will come naturally.
