What has been your favorite role?
My favourite role would be the last role I had in ‘The Abandons’ that is set to be released this year. It was exciting to be in the middle of an intense and chaotic scene with so many talented cast, stunt performers and crew. For me, it’s all about incredible experiences like this one that I could only have in this industry.

What do you do when you are not performing?
I’ve been taking acting classes with Company of Rogues for over two years now. Outside of acting, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and live music events. I also stay pretty active with a variety of sports like skiing, hiking and mountain biking. I’m looking forward to working on my horseback riding skills this spring.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I’ve been involved with the Cochrane and Area Humane Society for a few years as a dog walker, adoptions counsellor and currently as foster mom to Max the cat. It’s a great organization with dedicated staff and volunteers that provide shelter, food, medical care, training and community support through its educational programs and spay/neuter programs. Go to Cochranehumane.ca to learn more or maybe adopt a new family member!

What Director would you like to work with?
I would be thrilled to work with any of our amazing Canadian and local Alberta directors. We have so much talent right here at home.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I have so many favourite films, but I can’t stop thinking about Poor Things – it’s brilliant on so many levels and that dance scene! On TV, I loved The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and I’m mesmerized by the performances of Jeremy Allen White and Jamie Lee Curtis in The Bear. I’m also looking forward to the next season of Only Murders in the Building.

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I wish I had known that there is not one right or wrong way to play a scene. Getting stuck in my head trying to make it ‘perfect’, whatever that is, was not helpful. Do the work, prepare, but then trust my instincts and surrender to what the moment brings. And have fun!
