What has been your favorite role?
My favorite role was being Kathleen’s stunt double in Season 1 of The Last of Us. Even though it was a stunt role, I’ll never forget standing on set during this massive scene with hundreds of cast and crew. I just took a moment to soak it all in—the scale, the energy, and the incredible talent all around me. It was one of those surreal, full-circle moments, and I felt so proud and grateful to see so many amazing Alberta artists shining in such an epic production.
What do you do when you are not performing?
My husband and I have a beautifully blended family of nine, with four school-aged children and a lively little farm that keeps us all busy. As parents, we’re committed to teaching our kids the importance of social responsibility and the value of hard work. Whether it’s in school, in the rodeo arena, as part of a team, or simply completing daily chores, we encourage them to give their best and take pride in their efforts. At the end of the day, our goal is for them to go to bed knowing they gave it their all.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
When not focused on family, my film community, be that in stunt community, the intimacy community or guardians of minors on set, is my passion. I love telling stories and doing so as ethically but effectively as possible, is paramount to me.
What Director would you like to work with?
If I could work with any director, I’d seek out Guy Ferland. Guy Ferland is an incredibly supportive and visionary director who brings out the best in everyone on set, from cast to crew. His ability to clearly communicate his creative vision ensures that every moment on screen is purposeful and powerful. His boundless energy is truly contagious, creating an inspiring and collaborative environment. Working with him is not only a privilege but a masterclass in storytelling and leadership.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
My favorite film definitely gives away my age a bit — it’s the 1990 classic Flashback, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Dennis Hopper. It’s a hilarious and unexpectedly heartfelt movie that weaves in themes of social justice, has emotional depth, and some genuinely surprising plot twists. It’s one of those films that has stuck with me over the years for both its humour and its message.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
Your voice matters. If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe on set or your child is in overtime, speak up— you have every right to do so. A professional set values respect, communication, and you and/or your child’s well-being above all else.
