What has been your favorite role?
My favourite role so far is in the horror/thriller feature film called “PRANK NIGHT”. I play a character named Steve and it has been the most incredible experience of my life. I am very grateful for the opportunity that the Director and the Producers gave me for this role. This role has taught me so much about my craft and how to keep improving on it and part of it I owe it to my fellow cast mates Chad Rook and Zoe Marlett who showed me immense support throughout the production.

What do you do when you are not performing?
I am the owner of Kukulcan Productions Canada and also the COO and President of Syndicate Films. When I am not acting I am usually keeping busy with my own productions at Kukulcan, or taking acting classes with Chad, or writing a feature film with Syndicate Films. Film is my passion and I am dedicating my life to every aspect of film production, whether in front or behind the camera.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I work very closely with Parkinson Association of Alberta where occasionally I help their team with their video/photo requirements. I am also part of the crew that is making a documentary about Ryan Straschnitzki (one of the Broncos’ crash survivors) for The Disability Channel. Additionally, I recently produced and directed the short film “CHECK ENGINE” which aims to create awareness on Men’s Mental Health.

What Director would you like to work with?
Definitely Guillermo Del Toro. I really admire the way he showcases a bit of our Mexican culture in every film he makes.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I am a huge fan of fantasy films and movies. Game of Thrones is definitely on top of the list (except the last season) along with Star Wars.

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I wish I would have known how much effort, tears and sweat you have to put in to get into this industry. We are not just competing against other actors in Alberta or BC, but also in Toronto and the USA. As an actor, it is our job to train every day and to master our skills. If you are serious about acting, there is no days off.
