Workshop Description

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your audition game, this one-day workshop is designed specifically for stunt performers who want to improve their on-camera presence and self-tape skills.

Led by experienced stunt performer, actor and ACTRA member Kelsey Andries, this 5-hour intensive will guide participants through the fundamentals of a strong self-tape, with a focus on authenticity, clarity, and confidence in both dialogue and physical performance. You’ll learn how to interpret sides effectively, showcase your range and personality and make technical choices that elevate your tape.

*Each participant will be sent a set of sides ahead of the class to prepare and perform. 

This workshop is geared toward helping stunt performers feel more comfortable and empowered in front of the camera.

How to prepare self-tapes for acting roles versus stunt acting roles

Tips for breaking down sides, making choices and delivering natural performances

Practical advice on setup, framing, lighting, and sound

Coaching and feedback on your on-camera reads
