Performance Categories:

• Best Performance (Principal or Actor)

• Best Performance (Principal or Actor) – Short (less than 20 minutes)

• Best Supporting Performance (Principal or Actor) all Genres 

• Best Stunt Performance

• Best Stunt Coordination

Submission Criteria

• Performance dates must fall between October 1, 2022 and August 30, 2024.

• Deadline to submit is September 27 at 4:00 PM MT

• Productions must have had their first exhibition or broadcast within the eligibility period listed above.

• Performer must have been a member of ACTRA Alberta at time of performance.

• The member must be in good standing with the union to be considered for an award.

• Only ACTRA Alberta members in good standing may submit or nominate another member.

• Alberta members may self-submit or ask a sibling ACTRA Alberta member to submit you. But be smart about it. It should be some of the very best work you’ve ever done; you don’t want to waste the jury’s time.

• The nominated performance must be from an ACTRA-signatory production shot anywhere in Canada or internationally.

• A shortlist of award nominees and winners are decided by a nominating jury of members.

• Five performances will be picked for each category.
