What has been your favorite role?
Voicing the role of Obi-wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars video game. I’ve been a life-long Star Wars fan. This was a dream-come-true moment.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I’m the CEO of the Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society. We work to support the patron experience and amazing artists onstage and backstage at the Jubilee Auditoria in Calgary and Edmonton. It’s a privilege to be working in a place that really brings arts and culture to Albertans.
What activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I also sing with my a cappella band, the Heebee-jeebees. We started 32 years ago with the intention of getting dates. Now, we have been able to perform around North America, share the stage with some of the best of the best in the business and spread some musical smiles along the way.
What Director would you like to work with?
Probably Jon Favreau. It might be the Star Wars connection, but he’s an innovator in all aspects of filmmaking.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
Favorite movie is a tie between Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Three Amigos. There are likely loftier choices, but these are the ones that have stuck and stayed. In my mind, I’m Indiana Jones, but I tend to come across as one of the amigos. 🙂
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
Your version is as good, or better, than anyone else’s version. Believe in it.
