What has been your favorite role?
My favorite roles so far have been Chayton, the vampire hunter in Sinners and also playing Ignatius Jack, in Train Dreams. I enjoy almost every character I play in all films and television. Always looking forward to the next.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I write and create original projects. I spend a lot of my time developing stories that combine history, dark comedy, action and horror, and as well as ones that reflect Indigenous experiences in unconventional ways. I’m focused on building long-term creative work, not just waiting for the next role.
What activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I’m passionate about developing Indigenous-led genre storytelling — especially film and television that moves beyond traditional narratives and places Indigenous voices at the centre of bold, commercially viable stories.
What Director would you like to work with?
The most meaningful collaborations for me have always come from directors who give space, trust the process, and allow performances to grow rather than control them.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
Films that really stay with me are The Warriors, The Crow, Conan the Barbarian, Empire Strikes Back, Withnail & I, The Time Bandits…too many to list. In general, I’m drawn to sci-fi, action, horror and fantasy — stories with strong worlds, heightened stakes and mythic or genre-driven storytelling. That’s the space I naturally connect to, both as a viewer and as a performer.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I wish I had understood sooner how important long-term relationships and reputation are in this industry. Talent and preparation matter, but trust, consistency, and how you collaborate with people ultimately shape the career you build just as much as the roles you play.
