What has been your favorite role?
I just finished playing a character name “Trey” on Season 3 of JANN where I play Jann Arden’s personal assistant and that was pretty amazing. I really enjoyed that whole experience.
What do you do when you are not performing?
I’m a pretty chill guy so when I’m not working/performing I really like just hanging out with friends, going for walks, having some drinks outside. That kind of thing.
What Director would you like to work with?
There are a few for sure! I don’t know too many film directors yet, but I would love to work with Janelle Cooper. She is a good friend of mine that is the artistic director of Randolf College and she is absolutely brilliant. I haven’t had the chance to be directed by her a ton and I think it would be incredible. Another brilliant director that I have worked with but would like to work with a lot more is Kimberley Rampersad. She is the Associate Artistic Director at the Shaw Festival and is a genius.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
I have a few favourite movies that I tend to watch every year that are kind of cheesy but I love them: Rush Hour, Titanic, and The Holiday.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
This is a great question. One thing that I wish I had known sooner is just focus on the work. So often we get caught up in wanting to impress a certain director or certain actor but that doesn’t matter nearly as much as you think. Focus on the work and work your hardest and that other stuff will work itself out.
