What has been your favorite role?
My favourite role would have to be a theater production with Ellipsis Tree Collective I did called “The Real McCoy” where I played a young Elijah McCoy, and later on, his best friend “Don Bogie”. On film, I’d have to say my role on Tribal where I played a metro police officer.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I’m not performing, I like to train in Muay Thai, I enjoy the outdoors and I’m also a drummer. If it weren’t for COVID, I’d likely be some way involved in a show or festival. Also cars and motorcycles, cooking, gardening… too many things!
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
Prior to 2020, I’d been involved in a community and prison outreach program doing team building and motivational activities with inmates at Bowden institution. I also belong to a local church (Berean Church of God) and several music related organizations including OneBigJam.
What Director would you like to work with?
I don’t know that I have enough experience yet to make that distinction, but I would love to play an emotionally charged, principal role similar to Don Bogie in the future. Fingers crossed!
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
That’s a tough one. I love movies. Especially ones with an element of adventure. Same with TV shows. Recent binge is Bone & Shadow.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
I wish I knew how big film is in Canada at a younger age. And also that I could be a part of it.
