What has been your favorite role?
My favorite role/roles so far have been playing Sophie in the independent feature, Faultline, as well as Asha on JANN. Sophie gave me the opportunity to explore a character I haven’t before in the past and Asha was so fun to play with. Plus, the lively atmosphere on both sets really made for an enjoyable experience.
What do you do when you are not performing?
When I’m not performing, I’m usually traveling or spending time with family.
What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I’m really big on self care and the beneficial role it plays on mental health. Simple things like checking in with yourself, going outside for a walk (weather permitting of course), unplugging from social media every now and then can really impact your mental and emotional well-being positively.
What Director would you like to work with?
There are many directors I would love to work with, like Ava Duvernay, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Lily and Lana Wachowski, to name a few.
What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
My favorite movie is The Dark Knight and TV show is Law and Order SVU.
As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner
To remember to have fun. Every opportunity to act is a chance to do what you love, whether it’s an audition, a callback, on set or on stage, it’s important not to lose the enjoyment of it all.
