What has been your favorite role?
So far, my favourite role has been Carol Ann in the up coming feature, Dark Match starring Stephen Ogg and directed by Lowell Dean. She’s a terror and a baddy and that’s not my usual wheelhouse so I had a ball. The whole team was terrific, and I got to see up close the amazing athleticism and grace of pro wrestlers. Also getting blown up is always fun.

What do you do when you are not performing?

When I’m not performing, I’m usually preparing for a gig or teaching. I have a true crime comedy podcast called Scamtime which I cohost with fellow ACTRA member Karen Johnson Diamond. I’m also a mom of two stellar young men and an awesome
doggo, so life is never dull.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
For years now I have been an active donor to the Ponheary Ly Foundation – which is committed to providing quality education for children in Northern Cambodia to help
rebuild the country’s society after the genocide of the 1970’s. There is so much
work to do here at home too of course.
I’m also an amateur aerialist so I’m a circus nerd at heart as well.

What Director would you like to work with?
Well, it would be a dream to work with Mike White. Of course, White Lotus is somewhat of a masterpiece and School of Rock is classic. I love the contradictions and depths of
the characters and there is definitely a sense of play and collaboration
with his actors that I’d love to experience.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
Currently White Lotus and Succession are at the top of my list, but Schitt’s Creek is permanently entered as is Seinfeld. That’s more than one. But who can choose?!!

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
As a performer I wish I would have clued into the fact that nobody wants you to fail in an audition and that it is 100% your own fear that holds you back. I’m older now so I’ve
had a good decade or so of enjoying auditions and the whole process.
But I wish I could have believed in myself earlier.
