What has been your favorite role?
For film, Brenda in Chicks with Sticks. It was my first big gig, and longest shoot for me. It was so fun bonding with the cast and getting to know the crew. For theatre, it would be Mrs. Linde in A Doll’s House at The Globe Theatre, directed by the incomparable David Latham. That entire experience was such a gift.

What do you do when you are not performing?

I’m a mom, a flight attendant, and a voice and acting instructor at Six Degrees Performance.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?

I am a total nature nerd. I will drop anything to watch a bee/butterfly/squirrel/creature do its thing.

What Director would you like to work with?

I like working with directors like David Mackenzie who take the time to talk about a scene before shooting. I know time is money with film, but to get everyone on the same page, and make sure we are all serving the story is ideal.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?

I’m a sucker for 80s movies. Those soundtracks are in my bones. For TV, I like to live vicariously through the people on House Hunters International.

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
That networking doesn’t have to be self-serving. It can be about connecting other artists who would work well together. Lifting each other up and creating a web of talent. There are so many great artists in this province.
