What has been your favorite role?
I was a regular principal actor in ‘Country Joy’, an early CBC soap opera produced at the old CBC studios on 75th street in Edmonton.

More recently, I was a regular support player in ‘This Hour Has 22 Minutes’ produced in Halifax with a wonderful, funny, nice cast – Mark Critch, Cathy Jones, Mary Walsh, Shaun Majumder, Gavin Crawford. There were no unnecessary takes. Call was at 6:00 am and we were out in the street again by noon, every week.

I was also a principal actor in a commercial that ran in high rotation in Canada east of Toronto…. I had to wear a false beard to go to the supermarket
for the next 2 years!

What do you do when you are not performing?
When not performing?…… I’m always performing in my home recording studio – narrating, and producing audiobooks for Audible, I-Tunes and Amazon.

What organization / activity are you involved with or passionate about that people would find interesting?
I have recently become involved in a political organization dedicated to ridding this wonderful province of its present pernicious government.

What Director would you like to work with?
I would love to be directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

What is your favorite movie and/or TV show?
My favourite movie is ‘Blood Simple’ by the Coen brothers.

As a Performer, what is one thing you wish you would have known sooner?
What do I wish I had known sooner?  Nothing……. Actors are vulnerable babes in the woods and it’s probably better that I didn’t know what was coming.
