The landscape of auditioning has changed dramatically since spring of 2020. Gone are the days of in person auditions and immediate, one on one direction from Casting Directors who once served as the actor’s direct link to the desires of production. The actor, via self-tape, is now wholly in charge of the creation of their first takes, their first IMPRINT on how casting views them. It is IMPERATIVE that the modern actor is putting their best foot forward. How do we do this? The answer is simple (though it leads to complexity): The actor must holistically understand STORY, their ROLE within it, and the technical requirements of the self tape that will allow their work to translate the way they want it to.

This workshop will utilize material currently being used to cast projects in the industry to help you understand how to break down and execute your self tapes in a bookable way.
