The Camera Loves You! Self-Tape Class with Chantal Perron
This 3hr workshop, with follow-up work, offers actors the online opportunity to learn the skills needed to complete a self-tape audition for submission to a project.
Our current film industry standard calls upon performers to take responsibility for using/learning technology to send in our own recorded auditions. Practicing simplicity, specificity and stillness, in our scene work and in self-tape approach. A portion of time is allotted to questions and a self-tape homework opportunity exists in which, I give students a scene for self tape, they submit it and receive valuable feedback and insight into performance and tape essentials from myself and gain practical experience to help develop the confidence and skills to be successful in any audition room…including your OWN!
Chantal Perron offers 20 years of experience, specifically, in the Alberta film industry.
